About My Tutoring
I offer private, one-to-one online tutoring in undergraduate physics, astrophysics, mathematics, and A-Level Maths and Physics.
I am an Observational Astrophysics PhD researcher at Lancaster University, and I hold a First Class Honours degree in Astrophysics from Aberystwyth University. My academic background includes research experience at the University of Oxford, Université Paris-Saclay, and Lancaster University.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s academic level, university syllabus, and individual learning goals. Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for examinations, or simply looking to develop a deeper understanding of physics and mathematics, I aim to make complex concepts accessible through clear explanations and worked examples.
University Physics Tutoring
I offer tutoring across a wide range of undergraduate physics modules, particularly:

A-Level Maths and Physics
I also offer online tutoring for AS and A-Level students, covering:
- A-Level Mathematics
- A-Level Further Mathematics (selected topics)
- A-Level Physics
Lessons can focus on understanding difficult concepts, improving problem-solving techniques, working through past examination questions, and preparing for assessments.
Lesson Rates
All lessons are delivered online and last 60 minutes unless otherwise arranged.

How Lessons Work
Lessons are conducted online through Google Meet or Zoom, with screen sharing and digital worked examples.
Before our first lesson, I encourage students to share the topics they would like to cover, along with any relevant lecture notes, syllabus information, or practice questions. This allows me to prepare a session suited to their needs.
My approach emphasises developing a genuine understanding of the underlying physics and mathematics, rather than simply memorising formulas or solutions.
Both regular weekly tutoring and occasional revision sessions are available, depending on your requirements.
